Greek Summer Dishes

Traditional Greek summer dishes are healthy, nutritious, and quick to prepare. You will love Greek green beans in tomato sauce, baked rice with okra & feta, and gemista-stuffed tomatoes with rice. Turn on the grill, and prepare chicken skewers, pork skewers, and lamb burgers with light marinades. Accompany delicious roasted branzino fillets with refreshing salads such as tabbouleh, cherry tomato salad, and rustic dakos with feta and tomato. Summer means less cooking, so prepare a pasta salad or spaghetti with shrimp and call it a day! For the end of the meal, find cool and quick desserts with summer fruits like Greek yogurt with figs and honey, or a sunny olive oil cake served with ice cream!

Oh hey! I'm Jenny!

I am a Greek living in the greater New York City area. I like to say I am a beauty art director turned foodie, aka the Greek foodie. Born and raised in Greece, my fondness for good food goes hand in hand with my heritage. My absolute favorite thing to do is cook delicious food to enjoy with family and friends.
